Corona crisis not averted yet, take precautions, do not remove mask: PM Modi

New Delhi, 26 July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi cautioned in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program on Sunday that the Corona crisis is not yet averted and we should be constantly cautious.

He said that wearing a mask is a problem, but it is very useful in defeating the corona.

Referring to the Corona fight, the Prime Minister said in his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that the recovery and mortality rate of corona infection in India is lower than in other countries. The country has been successful in saving the lives of its millions. The battle of Corona is still going on in many places. We have to be constantly careful.

Modi said that keeping a mask and two yards, taking care of cleanliness and washing hands can save us from corona.

Drawing attention to the Corona warriors, the Prime Minister said that while wearing masks, we should think that they too keep it for us throughout the day.

The Prime Minister said, “Sometimes we have trouble with the mask and feel like removing the mask from the face. Masks are more needed while talking but at the same time remove the mask. At such a time, remember those doctors, nurses and those Corona warriors for a moment. Wearing masks, they are constantly working for hours to save the lives of all of us. Eight-eight, wearing masks for ten to ten hours. Will they not have any problem? Remember them a little bit, you will also feel that as a citizen, we should not take any pity in this nor allow anyone to take care. ”

During this time the Prime Minister mentioned the work done in the villages and municipal bodies of Jammu and Kashmir to deal with Corona.

He said that in the Corona era, our rural areas have shown direction to the entire country. Many good efforts are constantly coming from the villages to the local citizens and gram panchayats.

PM praised the work towards the fight against Corona under the leadership of Sarpanch Balbir Kaur in Jammu’s Trewa village, Jetuna Begum, sarpanch of Chauntalwar in Ganderbal, Kashmir and Mohammad Iqbal, president of the civic body in Anantnag.

Referring to the rains during the Corona crisis, the Prime Minister rendered a message to people to build their immunity and take care of cleanliness.

He mentioned the flood and also called it a challenge and said that the government and administration are working together for relief and rescue.
