Yogi government allocates Rs 50 crores for corona vaccine in budget

 Lucknow, 22 February: The Yogi government has made several important decisions in the medical and health sector in the budget of fiscal year 2021-22. There was speculation that the government might gift the corona vaccine free to the people. However, the government has set the budget for vaccine.

A budget provision of Rs 50 crore is proposed for the vaccination scheme from the prevention of corona. At the same time, a provision of Rs 5,395 crore has been made for the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).

A budget of Rs 1,300 crore has been made for the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. At the same time, a budget of Rs 142 crore is proposed for the Ayushman Bharat-Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana.

Similarly, a provision of Rs. 320 crore has been made for Pradhan Mantri Maternity Vandana Yojana. A budget of Rs 1,073 crore is proposed to create diagnostic infrastructure for primary health care facilities. At the same time, a provision of Rs 425 crore has been made for urban health and health centers.

Similarly, Rs 54 crore has been allocated for strengthening the state drug control system whereas for the creation of food and drug laboratories in 12 divisions of the state, a budget of Rs 50 crore is proposed.

At the same time, Rs 77 crore has been set up for the establishment of public health units at the block level.
