Anti larva campaign will be conducted in villages to prevent mosquito-borne diseases

Lucknow, November 15: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with the officials to discuss measures to get rid of the outbreak of mosquito borne malaria, chikungunya, filariasis etc. including dengue.

In this meeting, under the campaign, in the districts affected by mosquito-borne diseases including dengue, it was directed to conduct ‘fanging’ in every village as well as ‘anti larva campaign’.

The Chief Minister directed the Principal Secretary Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department to establish interdepartmental coordination with other related departments to conduct the fourth phase of ‘Dastak Abhiyan’ from 16 to 30 November. He informed that Health Department will be the nodal department of this campaign.

 He said that this campaign should be widely run. Every health officer should remain alert in this matter. It is necessary to ensure extensive public support in this campaign. Along with district administration, the principals of schools / colleges, village heads and students should also be ensured. Also, people should be made aware about prevention of dengue.
