Wuhan virus: Two areas in Lucknow declared Hotspot-free, no case in 28 days

Lucknow, 27 April: Two areas near Munshi Pulia and Khurram Nagar Alina Enclave in Lucknow are now hotspot-free which means no coronavirus positive cases have been found in these areas for the last 28 days.

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Lucknow Narendra Aggarwal informed that there were 19 hotspots, where Covid-19 cases were more than 10, in Lucknow, after the release of these two sealed areas of Munshi Pulia and Khurram Nagar Alina Enclave, now the total number of hotspots is 17.

He said that during the lockdown, the areas with hotspots are being susceptible so apart from the people of health department, police and essential services, activities of other departments have also been reduced. There is a complete ban on the news coverings at these highly sensitive areas of Covid-19.
