Bhopal, January 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that it is a matter of pride for India that the world’s largest vaccination campaign, Corona Vaccination, is starting in India from January 16.

The two vaccines Serum Institute of India’s ‘Covishield’ and Bharat Biotech’s ‘Covaxin’ have been allowed to use emergency, both of which are ‘Made in India’.

In the first phase of vaccination, about 03 crore people will be covered with corona vaccine. These include first all the health workers, policemen, defense personnel, sanitation workers and then those who are more than 50 years of age and those under 50 years of age, who have ‘co-morbidity’ (ie diabetes, blood pressure, Suffer from respiratory disease etc.).

The Prime Minister was addressing the Chief Ministers, Deputy Governors, and Administrators of all states and Union Territories on Covid-19 vaccination through video conferencing on Monday.

VC included Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang from the Ministry. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman etc. were present.

The Prime Minister said that we are in the decisive phase of the fight against Corona. Until we win completely, we do not have to do any inadvertence, just as before, keep all the precautions.

Vaccination process of 45 days

Modi said that there is a total 45-day process of vaccination. There will be a difference of 28 days between the first dose and the second dose and 14 days after the second dose, there will be an effect of vaccination. That is, during this time, you have to follow the corona protocol, no inadvertence.

‘Cowin’ Digital Platform

The Prime Minister said that a ‘Cowin’ digital platform has been created to monitor vaccination work. The vaccine will be given a digital certificate as soon as the first dose is given, indicating the date of the next dose. After the second dose, the person will get the final certificate. Vaccination will be a ‘real time’ entry on ‘Cowin’. Other countries will ‘follow’ us in this task. There should not be any carelessness or carelessness in the work.

To thwart rumours and propaganda

PM Modi said that some people can spread rumours or propagate about the credibility of the vaccines; we have to completely thwart those rumours and propaganda.

Implement the action plan of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry

The Prime Minister also discussed about bird flu. He said that all the states should implement the action plan of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry in this regard. Bird flu has been confirmed in 09 states including Madhya Pradesh. All water sources, bird sites, zoos, etc. should be constantly monitored and tested with samples immediately.

Home Minister Amit Shah initially stated that the Corona vaccine ‘Covishield’ and ‘Covaxin’ have been allowed to use emergency by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI). Both these vaccines are completely safe and immune.

It produces anti bodies in the body to fight disease.

Corona is growing in developed countries, while it is continuously decreasing in India

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that while corona is increasing in some developed countries of the world, it is continuously decreasing in India. In the middle of September, there were 10 lakh 17 thousand 154 active cases of corona in India, whereas today there are 2 lakh 22 thousand.

The ‘Cowin’ helpline will be operated for corona related assistance. The number of the central helpline will be 1075 and the helpline number 104 of the state governments.
