Ambedkar Nagar, 06 June: Parvez, believed to be the right hand of mafia don Khan Mubarak, was gunned down by the STF in Gorakhpur on Sunday. There was a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on him and a search was on for him since 2018. Parvez had fled the district after the murder of BSP leader Jurgam Mehndi. Parvez’s wife Rubina also has a reward of one lakh rupees.

Looking at the criminal history of Parvez, who was killed in the encounter, his name came to the fore in 2012 after he was involved in a murder.

However, Parvez, originally a resident of Makhdoom Nagar of Aliganj police station area, had been living with his wife Rubina in his in-laws’ house located in Ojhipur village of Hanswar police station area after getting married. From here he was identified with Mafia Khan Mubarak, a resident of Harsambhar village of Hanswar police station area.

Meanwhile, after joining hands with Khan Mubarak, Parvez never held back when he stepped into the world of Zaryam.

Between 2012 and 2018, three cases of murder were registered against him in Hanswar police station itself. Apart from this, cases have also been registered against him in other serious crimes including gangster in Hanswar police station. 10 cases have been registered against Parvez in Hanswar police station itself.

Last year, in the special manhunt launched by the state government against the criminals, the district police had also sealed the residences of Parvez and Rubina in Makhdoom Nagar. Some parts were demolished. Parvez used to intervene frequently in the matter of coal ash contracts in NTPC, due to which he used to be in the limelight.

But, after the killing of Parvez, the police of the district got a lot of relief. However, his wife Rubina is still out of the clutches of the police. The whereabouts of Rubina and her two children have not been found yet. At present, it is being told that she is in Nepal.
