Lucknow, August 18: In the Monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna on Wednesday compared Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with Lord Ram.

After presenting the supplementary budget in the House, when Leader of Opposition (LoP) Ram Govind Chaudhary raised questions on the presentation of the Finance Minister, Suresh Khanna said, “Chief Minister Yogi is the Ram of politics.” He is sitting here to defeat the demonic forces.

On this, the LoP said that Yogi Adityanath is not the Ram of politics, but the saint of a bench.

Earlier, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented a supplementary budget of Rs 7,301 crore in the Legislative Assembly.

After presenting his budget, the LoP questioned the budget presentation and said that in the parliamentary tradition only supplementary budget is presented but the Finance Minister gave a complete speech and during this he also counted the achievements of Yogi Government.

The Leader of the Opposition said that Thursday has already been set for discussion on the supplementary budget. In such a situation, speaking on the budget at the time of budget presentation is a violation of parliamentary tradition.

After this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, who is also the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, called Chief Minister Yogi the Ram of politics. This debate between the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and the Leader of the Opposition was the main focus of discussion inside and outside the House today.

On social media too, ‘Yogi Hai Politics Ke Ram’ dominated the entire day.
