Lucknow, August 18: The proceedings of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will now be broadcast live on YouTube channel. It was inaugurated by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Hriday Narayan Dixit on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly said that transparency is the basic basis for the success of democracy. People’s representatives speak in the public interest in the house. Their statements are listened to carefully by the voters. They carefully watch the work of their representatives and form opinions about them.

Dixit said that since the beginning of the 17th Legislative Assembly, arrangements have been made for live telecast on Doordarshan. Its advantage is that the voters who choose the members coming to the house, what is happening in the Legislative Assembly, how their representatives are speaking, are they not present, etc., etc.

He said that modern technology has taken a leap forward. From this point of view, many modern techniques were developed to show the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly. One of them is YouTube. Now the live telecast of the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly will also be done on YouTube. The people of the state will also be able to watch the proceedings of the House through YouTube. The action that will be seen on YouTube can be seen there even after 04 or 10 years. You will be able to watch the live broadcast of the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly through mobile.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna and Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chaudhary also expressed their views on the occasion of the inauguration. Several ministers including Swami Prasad Maurya, Ramapati Shastri, Laxminarayan Chaudhary and Gulab Devi, Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra “Mona”, BSP Legislature Party leader Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali, Apna Dal’s Smt.
