Sikh police officer shot dead near Houston in US

Washington, Sept.28 : An American Sikh police officer was shot and brutally murdered just a short distance away from the city of America, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump had given the message of Indo-US friendship to the world.

According to Texas police, Indian-origin Sikh police officer Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal was shot near Houston when he was on duty at a traffic stop. He stopped a man in a car.

According to Texas Police Officer Ed Gonzalez, Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal stopped a car. A man and a woman were sitting in this car. Ed Gonzalez said that according to the camera on the scene, there was some talk between Sandeep Dhaliwal and the person sitting in the car.

After this, Sandeep returned to his car. In a few seconds, the attacker came running and shot Sandeep. Sandeep Dhaliwal was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter, but his life could not be saved. According to the report, the attacker has been identified and has been taken into custody. Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal was a senior Texas police officer and was on duty for 10 years. Police officer Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal was married and has three children.
