New Delhi, June 11: There has been a rapid decrease in fresh cases of coronavirus across the country. In 15 states, the positivity rate is being reported less than 5 percent. At the same time, Sero Survey will be carried out soon to find out how many people got infected by this second wave of corona.

NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul apprised on Friday that Sero Survey is going to be conducted in the country soon. ICMR has made complete preparations for this.

Dr Paul said that along with this Sero Survey to be conducted in the country, all the states and union territories (UTs) should also conduct Sero Survey so that the situation of corona in the country can be ascertained and further preparations can be made.

In a press conference held on Friday, Dr VK Paul said that there has been a decrease in the cases of corona but people should be careful. The time for parties has not come yet. People will have to continue to wear masks, follow social distancing and follow hand hygiene. He said that the states should also conduct Sero Survey and keep an eye on the mutation of the virus.
