CM Yogi directs officials to clear pending dues of govt lawyers

Lucknow, June 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big relief to the government advocates who are struggling during the corona period.

CM Yogi has directed to pay the balance bills of contract advocates in government departments at the earliest. Earlier, in the financial budget, Chief Minister Yogi had made a budget provision for the advocates.

Actually, courts have been closed for a long time due to corona infection. In such a situation, the lawyers of the state should not have to face monetary problems. For this, Chief Minister Yogi has ordered the payment of their outstanding dues.

Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi had given financial assistance of five thousand rupees to more than one lakh advocates and musicians working in the courts. This assistance was given to those advocates whose registration was more than three years old.

At the same time, on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi has taken a step to give relief to hundreds of lawyers contracted in the government departments of the state.

He has directed that the balance dues of government and non-government lawyers contracted in the departments should be paid at the earliest. With this decision of the Chief Minister, the advocates who are facing financial problems will get a big relief.

Many gifts were given in the budget

Earlier, in his last budget, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given many gifts to the advocates. In its last budget, the Yogi government has made a budget provision for the lawyers’ chamber, financial assistance to young lawyers and the purchase of booklets and magazines. A total provision of Rs 35 crore has been made by the government for lawyers.

In this, a provision of Rs 5 crore has been made in the corpus fund to provide financial help to young advocates. 20 crore has been given for the construction of Advocate Chambers in various districts of the state and other facilities in them.
