Prime Minister Modi calls CM Yogi to take stock of Covid situation in UP

Lucknow, 16 May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a phone conversation with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the Covid-19 pandemic situation across Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister has thanked the Prime Minister for taking care of the state.

The Chief Minister’s Office tweeted that Prime Minister Modi today talked about the status of Covid in Uttar Pradesh, management and vaccination against Covid. Chief Minister Yogi apprised Prime Minister Modi that the corona management in the state is progressing successfully under his (Prime Minister’s) guidance. The Prime Minister guided the availability of beds, supply of oxygen, and free vaccination to every person and better treatment to the needy. He also discussed preventing vaccination waste.

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister has also held a phone conversation with the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry and reviewed the situation there and has given necessary instructions.
