Officers attend calls of every needy: CM Yogi

Lucknow, 02 May: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a tough decision on Sunday after receiving complaints about the health system in the districts. He instructed that in the districts where CMO or CMS posts are vacant, they should be appointed within 24 hours.

CM Yogi said that information has been received that some districts do not have people who operate ventilators. This is unfortunate, take it seriously by the Health Department and ensure the availability of immediate aesthetic and other technicians in all such hospitals. Also, this work should be done on priority.

He directed all DMs, CMOs to keep in constant touch with their representatives and regional public and said that the experience and guidance of public representatives will be helpful in Covid management. It is also said that all officers posted in the field remain in active mode and attend every phone call.

Be sensitive to patient relatives

Yogi said that covid patientโ€™s family should be treated sensitively. Cooperative attitude will be a big support for the family in this disaster. Provide proper information to the personnel providing services in the helpline. If a person is going for refilling of an oxygen cylinder for a patient, it should not be stopped.

Special teams also made in districts on the lines of Team-09

The Chief Minister said that special teams should be constituted in all the districts on the lines of team-09 formed at the state level for Covid management. For this, the officers should be given responsibility, monitored and the responsibility fixed.

Lekhpalas should also be linked to monitoring committees

The Chief Minister has directed for effective implementation of the weekly detention, night corona curfew and screening every migrant person coming to the rural area and said that Lekhpalas should also be attached to the monitoring committees.

Speak to patients recovering in home isolation every day

He said that every day communicate with the people under home isolation. Contact at least 45-50 thousand patients daily through CM Helpline. It is said that at the level of the Health Minister, the patients should be consulted and their condition should be taken.

Yogi government will give free ration to eligible people from May 05

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to the smooth maintenance of all citizens. Free ration will be distributed to eligible people in the state from May 05 and said to strictly implement Covid conveyors at ration distribution centers. Ration distribution should be done with full transparency to the eligible people. In this regard, an action plan should be prepared from the level of the Commissioner of Agricultural Production.

Balance of demand and supply of oxygen

Yogi said that all necessary efforts should be  made to balance the demand and supply of oxygen in the state. Yesterday, 682 metric tonnes of oxygen was distributed in the state. Today the 10th Oxygen Express is running. Oxygen supply is also being ensured in districts with low infection rates. Arrangement of oxygen supply has been made at DRDO’s new Covid Hospital.

He informed that oxygen is being supplied from Jamnagar (Gujarat) Durgapur, Barjora (West Bengal) Bokaro (Jharkhand), Jamshedpur as well as Kashipur, Modinagar and Roorkee. Medical colleges and government hospitals as well as private hospitals are being supplied. The status of all districts should be directly monitored from the government level.
