Mumbai, 20 March: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Chandrakant Dada Patil has alleged that now it is clear, the Thackeray government is corrupt. The Uddhav government of Maharashtra has proved through its exploits that the politics of Maharashtra has been completely criminalized.

Patil said that the written statement given by the removed police commissioner of Mumbai Param Bir Singh about Home Minister Anil Deshmukh to collect Rs 100 crore every month is shocking in itself.

โ€œUntil Sunday morning, if the Chief Minister did not remove Home Minister Anil Deshmukh from the government, the BJP would agitate all over the state,โ€ Patil warned.

Patil has said that the Home Minister Maharashtra who forcibly collecting money from the police department, will not be accepted. When Param Bir Singh was sacked as the chief of the Mumbai Police, so at the same time, he should have been removed from the cabinet as Anil Deshmukh’s demands of Rs 100 crores was known to Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Sharad Pawar but still they kept quiet. Now not only Home Minister Deshmukh but the entire government should resign.

In this case, Patil put the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government of Maharashtra in the dock and said that such a defamatory government of Maharashtra has no right to continue in power. If there is any shame left in this government, then the entire government should resign immediately and apologize to the 11.5 million people of Maharashtra.
