According to authorities here on Tuesday, poison was not proven in the report. However, no official from the investigating team is willing to comment on the topic. Mukhtar Ansari, who was in jail, died late on the night of March 28 from a huge heart attack while receiving care at the medical college. Mukhtar’s relatives claimed that he was being poisoned in the jail. The UP government had established a judicial investigation to investigate these accusations.

Although the postmortem report indicated Mukhtar Ansari’s death from a heart attack, the viscera were transferred to Lucknow for investigation. Following the viscera analysis, it is almost certain that Mukhtar Ansari died from a heart attack.
