Modi takes part in Ganga Aarti after a massive roadshow

Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedha Ghat in the presence of BJP chief Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP UP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey on Thrusday around 8.30 on Thrusday.

After this event, PM Modi attended a progarmme in which prominent personalities of the temple town talked to the PM at the Hotel De Paris in Varanasi.

Prior to this, Modi held a massive roadshow around 5.30 pm from BHU to Dashashwamedha Ghat via Godolia. In the roadshow, large number of supporters were present to welcome PM Modi. The roadshow was also atteneded by NDA allies inluding Shiv Sena chief Udhav Thackeray, JD[U] chief Nitish Kumar. Top BJP leaders were as well present in the roadshow.

Modi is on two-days tour in his parliamentary constituency from where he is re-seeking election. On Friday, PM will file his nomination paper in the district madistrate [DM] office around 11.30 pm. Before filing his nomination, he will visit Kal Bhairav temple to pay obesiance to the God.

Varanasi will go to poll on May 19 in the seveth phase and the results for the Lok Sabha seats will be announced on May 23.
