Pratapgarh, 02 March: A man’s body was discovered hanging from a school gate in Narharpur village on Saturday, police said. The man’s wife and children have been reported missing since the event.
Durgesh Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police (East), stated a man’s body was found hanging from the door of Janta Junior High School in Narharpur village, Raniganj police station area.
The deceased, Prakash (38), was living in a leased room in the hamlet with his wife and children, according to the ASP.
The corpse has been submitted for a post-mortem, and the investigation has begun, according to the officer. A search for his wife and children has also been initiated, he said.
