Lockdown Day 5:Chief Minister Yogi directs officials to isolate about 50 thousand people entered Uttar Pradesh in past three days

Lucknow, March 29: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given special instructions to state officials to monitor and check health of every citizen who came to Uttar Pradesh from other states or country after March 1.

It is said that if there is any doubt, then quarantine them. Instructions have also been given to follow 14-day health protocol for people who have come from outside.

With this, Yogi said that in the last three days, about fifty thousand people have come from other states. They should be checked immediately and isolate them. There should be no negligence in this. The district administration is fully responsible for the isolation. In any case, this situation has to be dealt with on a war footing.

In a meeting with high officials on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the enterprises and institutes which remained closed due to COVID-19 will have to pay salaries to every employee. If any institution performs any kind of dilly-dallying, then strict action would be taken against them. Under no circumstances should employees be troubled.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed his officials that the government will give one thousand rupees to every poor, daily wage labourer no matter a labourer may be in any corner of the state. No labourer should face any problem when it concerned with money, food and water. The district administration finds helpless, poor people and provides them money.

Along with this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to the landlords not to take rent from the low wages, labourers or poor people. It is time to practice human religion. At such times all competent people should come forward. We all have to face this pandemic together.

He gave clear instructions to officers that in any case, people’s electricity or water supply will not be cut if consumers are not able to pay bills due to lockdown. Supply of water and electricity will be maintained.

Yogi assured that anyone who has come or is already living in UP, so it is our full responsibility to arrange food, clean water and medicine for them.

“There will not be any threat to the health of the remaining people just because of them. Even if they do not want to go to their state, it is my government’s responsibility to protect everyone. Nobody needs get panic over here. All their necessary requirements will be met timely,” CM assured.

He has also said that DMs should fix the price of goods in every district, make it abide by shop keepers, take strict action against the hoarders, including FIRs.
