International Film Festival of India from November 20 in Goa

New Delhi, October 6: Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that the country’s fiftieth International Film Festival of India ( IFFI) will begin in Goa from November 20. Whereas, it will conclude on November 28. During the film festival, more than 200 films from different countries will be screened at the Goa Film Festival.

He made this announcement here on Sunday while talking to the media persons.

Javadekar told reporters that Russia is a co-partner in the film festival this year.

He said that about 26 feature films and 15 non-feature films from various Indian regional languages โ€‹โ€‹would be screened. About 50 years ago, 12 films made in different languages โ€‹โ€‹will also be screened.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Javadekar said that the film festival will be attended by all film stars and about 10,000 film lovers. He said that seven-eight films of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan will also be screened.
