HM Amit Shah and CM Yogi lay foundation of ‘Vindhya Dham Corridor’

Mirzapur, 01 August: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of Vindhya Corridor and inaugurated the ropeway and presented a project worth Rs 144 crore to the Vindhya region on Sunday.

After much struggle, the shape of Vindhya Corridor was finally decided. The Home Minister and the Chief Minister reached Deori at the helipad site at three o’clock and went straight towards Vindhyavasini temple by road.

After reaching the temple at 03:10, Amit Shah paid obeisance to Ma Vindhyavasini. After this, at 03:15, the foundation stone of the Vindhya Corridor was laid by performing ground worship in the middle of the German Hangar Pandal.

Three learned pundits from Kashi Vishwanath temple and two learned pundits from Vindhyachal have performed Bhumi-Pujan amidst chanting of vedic mantras. After Bhumi Pujan, at 03:15, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left for Mahuvaria, the public meeting place.
