The CM further instructed that the convention center should be made multipurpose. The conference centre should be designed such that important cultural, political, state, religious, and musical events can be held there with grandeur and dignity. The Exhibition Center should be able to host all types of fairs and exhibitions. He further said that Indian culture should be reflected in the architecture of the Lucknow Convention Center building. It should be an example of water and energy conservation. It should be made energy efficient through solar energy. Additionally, efforts should be made towards developing quality hotels nearby.

Giving prominence to the One District One Product (ODOP) Scheme, the CM also stated that there should be a display of ODOP items from Uttar Pradesh at the centre. The meeting was attended by senior officials from the department.

The housing department will soon prepare a DPR regarding the convention center near Avadh Shilp Gram. Hotels will also be built around it.
