Lucknow, March 23: Four new corona patients have been found in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The number of virus-infected patients in the state now is 33.

However, 11 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

According to the data released late this evening by the state health department, one patient each has been found in Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Kanpur and Pilibhit.

So far, eight people each from Lucknow, Agra and Noida, three from Ghaziabad and one each from Lakhimpur Kheri, Moradabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Pilibhit and Jaunpur have been confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Today 49 suspected patients of Corona were admitted in various hospitals of the state. Samples of 1487 suspected patients have been sent for test so far, out of which 1325 patients have received negative test reports.

So far, 15, 39,796 people were screened at the state border. Awareness meetings were held in 2170 villages along the Nepal border.

Apart from this, the number of labs to check the corona virus in the state is constantly increasing. Corona hospitals will also be set up in 51 medical colleges in the state. For this, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the State Medical Education Minister on Monday held video conferencing with 24 state and 27 private medical colleges.
