Chinese virus: In 12 hours, 8 more cases of corona disease register in Maharashtra

Mumbai, March 23: Eight patients infected with Chinese virus (COVID-19) have increased in three districts of Maharashtra in 12 hours.

However, this has increased the number of corona victims in the state to 97 now while 3 people have died of corona pandemic in the state so far. In view of this, complete lockdown has been imposed in the state.

On Monday morning, Health Minister Rajesh Tope had confirmed 89 corona patients in the state, but in the evening, the number has now risen to 97 with 04 positive in Sangli, 03 in Mumbai and one positive in Satara.

So far, 38 corona patients have been found in Mumbai, out of which three have died.

 Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the people of the state to cooperate with the government by staying in their house.

He has said in his address that the state government is working seriously to deal with Corona virus pandemic.

Meanwhile, test of three COVID-19 patients, two from Pune and one from Aurangabad was negative. The news of the recovery of these three corona victims was encouraging for the state.
