Digvijay Singh writes to the cow ‘Awara Gau Mata’ on twitter, ‘Gau Rakshak’ registers protest

Bhopal, 11 October : Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh is in the news again for his tweets and statements. In a tweet by Digvijay Singh which is in the headlines wherein he has written the word ‘Awara’ for Gau Mata for those cows sitting between the road. The Gau Raksha Sangathan has strongly opposed it after it was written before the word Gau Mata.

Actually, on Friday, Digvijay Singh shared a photo of the Bhopal-Indore highway in a tweet, in which many cows are seen sitting on the road. With the photo, Digvijay Singh wrote to the state government, demanding immediate removal of the cows and tweeted,

In an another tweet mentioning Chief Minister Kamal Nath, he wrote,

In the tweet, there is outrage in the Gau Raksha Sangathan, agitated against the writing of Gau Mata and they have opposed it. Gau Raksha Utthan Samiti convener Ravi Pateria attacked Digvijay Singh and said mentioning Digvijay Singh in his quote that cow is our mother, not ‘Awara’.
