Covid 2.O threat: 129 passengers from UK to Kanpur went untraceable

Kanpur, 26 December: The district administration of Kanpur has started screening such people who have recently returned from Britain. In 15 days, screening of people who returned from Britain has been started.

Ever since the finding new strain of the coronavirus disease in Britain, there has been a worldwide panic. In Uttar Pradesh too, the government is preparing to tackle the new virus.

A list of 129 returnees from Britain has been released in Kanpur. The police are engaged in verifying them. The maximum of 19 people are from Chakeri police station area. The Police station-in charges have been asked to identify those who have returned from Britain.

In this regard, Circle Officer (CO) Sisamau Tripurari Pandey said that in the last few days in the district, a list of people returning from abroad is being made. Police are making sure that all of them are properly examined with the Health Department.

Eight people who have travel history of Britain are untraceable

The Health Department had made a list of many people who had come back from the UK so that they could be examined. But surprisingly, so far 8 people who have returned from Britain have not been identified. Police are trying to find them. The list of people of Britain who returned to the district is being searched by making a list at the police station level.
