Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan meets CM Yogi for ‘Gorakhnath Eye’

Lucknow / Gorakhpur, 26 December: Gorakhpur Member of Parliament (MP) and Bhojpuri film superstar Ravi Kishan called on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday in Lucknow.

During this time the MP submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister to set up ‘Gorakhnath Eye’ like the ‘London Eye’ in Gorakhpur.

MP Ravi Kishan said that the Gorakhpur is the most prominent city of Purvanchal. It is emerging as a major tourist destination. In order to further promote tourism here, there is a demand to establish Gorakhnath Eye on the lines of London Eye located on the banks of the River Thames in London. Gorakhpur will be a major center of attraction in the country, if it is established on the banks of Ramgarh Tal. This will also boost tourism industry and trade.

“Thousands of youth will get employment directly from the tourism industry. What is London is the tallest (135 m) Catliver Observation Wheel in Europe, located on the South Bank of the River Thames, London I-London. If it is constructed in Gorakhpur then the height of this wheel will be 151 m,” MP added.

Employment and tourism will get a boost

Ravi Kishan said that this will give a further boost to tourism across the country including Gorakhpur. Every year a large number of people throng to Purvanchal for tourism. There will be a huge increase in the number of tourists to see the first cataliver wheel of the country.

Bhojpuri film actor told further that going forward as a tourism sector, they can play a big role in terms of economic independence. This will connect thousands of people in employment. The economic condition of the people will improve. Several sources of income will increase, including hotels, restaurants. A large part of it will not only develop the tourism economy, but people will also get employment on a large scale.
