KGMU’s junior doctor admitted in the Isolation Ward of KGMU after he was tested positive for COVID-19

Lucknow, March 18: A doctor, treating the novel coronavirus patients admitted in the Isolation Ward at King George Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow has been tested positive for COVID-19.

However, the doctor has been admitted to the Isolation Ward of the KGMU.

KGMU spokesperson SN Shankhawar said that after receiving information about the said case, the duty of junior doctors is being changed in turn. This matter is of Tuesday night and he came to know only on Wednesday morning, however, remaining case is being examined.

At the same time, the bulletin issued by KGMU was told that so far a total of 50 corona samples have been sent for testing. In this, 46 samples have been found to be negative. The investigation report of four samples is yet to come.
