COVID-19: DoPT issues order ‘Work from Home’ for central government employees

New Delhi, March 19: In view of the growing threat of novel Corona virus pandemic and to contain its spread in India, the central government has now implemented ‘Work from Home’ facility for its employees in all offices. Under this, employees will now be able to work in shifts.

On Thursday, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order asking central government employees to ‘work from home’.

The order said that this facility will be provided to the employees temporarily till April 4. During this time employees are given the option to work in 3 shifts.

Actually, corona virus cases are coming up fast in India. Due to this, this precautionary step has been taken.

So far, 170 cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported in India. Maharashtra is most affected by Corona. So far, 47 cases have been reported in Maharashtra. It is followed by Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and other states.

So far, Corona-infected patients have been found in more than 17 states in the country and three infected patients have died.
