CM Yogi mourns Prayagraj tragedy, announces compensation for families of four deceased laborers

Lucknow, March 23: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the death of four laborers in the collapse of the roof of a cold storage facility in Prayagraj district.

Chief Minister has announced compensation of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 each to the injured.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences to the deceased in the collapse of the roof of a cold storage facility in Prayagraj district and has directed administrative officials to provide the best possible treatment to the injured.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also posted on Instagram, writing that the loss of life in the unfortunate accident at the cold storage facility in Prayagraj district is extremely heartbreaking. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved families. I pray to God to grant the departed souls a place in His feet and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this unbearable grief and speedy recovery to the injured. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has also expressed his condolences.

It is noteworthy that the roof of Adarsh โ€‹โ€‹Cold Store in front of Chandpur village on Lucknow Road in Prayagraj collapsed. Four workers died and 15 were injured in this accident. Police took the injured to the hospital and after filling the Panchnama of the bodies, sent them for post-mortem.
