Bollywood: Prolific actor Irfan Khan’s brave battle with neuroendocrine tumor ends, dies at 53

New Delhi, April 29: Irfan Khan, the prolific actor of the film world, died today morning at the age of 53.

He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. His condition was very critical. He had to be admitted to the ICU. After the news of Irrfan Khan’s death spread out, a wave of mourning has poured in throughout Bollywood.

Film director Shoojit Sarkar was the first to inform Irrfan’s death in a tweet. He wrote, ‘My dear friend Irfan, you fought … fought and fought a lot … I will always be proud of you. Hats off to you. ‘

It is noteworthy that Irfan Khan’s mother had passed away recently. He was in shock.

In the year 2018, Irrfan Khan came to know that he was suffering from Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

Irfan Khan also went to London for treatment of this disease and returned home from there after being treated for almost a year. But he was very upset after his mother’s death.

However, Irfan Khan was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai a day before his death, but could not be saved him even after all the efforts were being done.
