Ayodhya, June 14: ‘Shri Ram Janma-Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra’ is working to provide the Shri Ram Janma-Bhoomi temple a grand appearance according to Vastu Shastra, to make the rest of the complex safe and convenient for the visitors in all respects. For this purpose, important temples and places falling within the boundary of the construction wall and retaining wall in the east and west part of the temple are being purchased with mutual consent, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janma-Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said by issuing a press statement on Monday.

He said that it has been the decision of the pilgrimage area that every institution and person displaced in this process will be rehabilitated. The land for rehabilitation is being selected with the consent of the concerned institutions and individuals. Under this process 1.20 hectares of land located at Bagh Bijesi, Ayodhya has been purchased with complete transparency with the consent of important temples like Kaushalya Sadan etc.

He further said that it is worth noting that the above mentioned land is a prime location situated on the road near Ayodhya railway station. In relation to this land, from the year 2011, the contract was executed in favour of the present vendors at different times (2011, 2017 and 2019).

“After an investigation, after finding this plot suitable for our use, the concerned persons were contacted. The value of the land demanded was compared with the current market price, the final due amount was fixed at about Rs 1,423/- per square feet, which is much less than the present market value of the nearby area”, stated Rai.

Champat Rai said that after the price was agreed upon, it was necessary for the concerned persons to fulfil their earlier contracts, and then only the concerned land could be received by the pilgrimage area. As soon as the deed of land was done in favor of the persons contracting with the pilgrimage area, the pilgrimage area signed and registered the agreement in its favor with full readiness and transparency.

He further said that it has been the decision of the pilgrimage area since the first day that all the payments will be made directly from the bank in the account; the same decision has been followed in the purchase process of the respective land. It is also ensured that all taxes etc. levied by the government are paid.

“The persons who made the statement in the language of the allegation did not inform the facts from any official of the pilgrimage area before making the allegation; this has created confusion in the society,” Rai concluded.

He has requested Shri Ram devotees not to believe in any such propaganda so that the ongoing construction work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple with utmost transparency is completed soon.
