Ambani family donates Rs 5 crore to Char Dham Borad for the salaries of employees

Donation has been made in view of the economic loss to Devasthanam Board during the Corona crisis.

Anant Ambani gave funds at the request of Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Board.

Dehradun / Gopeshwar, 07 October: Anant Ambani, the son of renowned industrialist and Chairman of Reliance Group Mukesh Ambani, has donated five crores rupees for the salaries of employees of Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board.

BD Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Board told here on Wednesday that Mukesh Ambani, along with the Ambani family, has great faith in all the four dhams including SriBdarinath and Kedarnath. In the past also, donations of crores of rupees have been given by him to SriBdarinath-Kedarnath Dham.

According to BD Singh, the financial conditions of the employees of the Devasthanam Board have also been affected due to the spread of global pandemic novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19), so he requested Anant Ambani, who was former member of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, for the salaries of the employees.

On which, the Ambani family accepted this urge and immediately donated Rs five crore to the Devasthanam Board for the salaries of the workers.

The media in-charge of Devasthanam Board, Harish Goud said that the Devasthanam Board employees have expressed their gratitude to the state government including the industrialist Anant Ambani and the chief executive officer of Devasthanam board Ravinath Raman and the additional chief executive officer BD Singh.
