This claim is not without reason. The way Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has paid attention to the development of Gorakhpur in the last four years, due to which the city of Gorakhpur has got a new identity. The Ramgarhtal here is now reminiscent of Mumbai’s Marine Drive. About one and a half dozen districts of Purvanchal are directly benefiting from the development schemes started in Gorakhpur.

Similarly, the country’s leading industrial house Aditya Birla Group has requested GIDA to provide 70 acres of land for setting up a paint making factory in Gorakhpur. Aditya Birla Group wants to set up the factory by investing around Rs 700 crore. Due to the increasing facilities in Gida, big companies and big industrial houses are now expressing their willingness to invest in Gorakhpur.

Here the plastic park will be built on 50 acres. In this, big companies have proposed to set up their factories. With the efforts of the Chief Minister, the Government of India has also given its consent for the establishment of this park. Similarly, land has been earmarked for Textile Park in Gorakhpur.

Textile traders are eager to set up their factories in this park too. In addition, Gorakhpur Link is acquiring Gida land for making industrial investments on both sides of the expressway. The compost factory made at the cost of Rs 7,000 crore. This fertilizer factory will produce 3,850 metric tonnes of manure daily. Due to this also, the officers of GIDA are expecting an increase in industrial investment here.
