Worst-Hit state: 2436 more positive cases found in 24 hours in Maharashtra, total cases climb to 52,667

Mumbai, May 25: Health Minister Rajesh Tope informed that 2436 positive cases of coronavirus have been found in the state on Monday. This has spiked the number of corona patients in the state to 52,667.

And at the same time, today, 60 patients have died due to Covid-19 in the state. So far the total death toll in the state has increased to 1695.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that 38 people died in Mumbai alone out of 60 deaths in the state today.

Similarly today, Pune 11, 3 in New Mumbai, 2-2 in Thane and Aurangabad, 1-1 corona patients died in Solapur, Kalyan and Ratnagiri.

Similarly, today 1 patient from Bihar has died in Mumbai. Today the dead comprises 42 men and 18 women.

Tope apprised that today the number of corona patients in Mumbai has increased to 31,972.

So far, 1026 people have died in Mumbai. Similarly, today 1186 people in the state are completely healthy from Coronavirus infection. All of them have been sent back to their homes.

So far, 15,786 people in the state have been declared completely healthy from infection.

The Health Minister said that 40,438 corona cases in Thane division, 1618 in Nashik division, 6933 in Pune division, 527 in Kolhapur division, 1508 in Aurangabad division, 249 in Latur division, 766 in Akola division, 577 in Nagpur division and 51 patients infected with lethal disease from other states are receiving treatment in Maharashtra.
