World likely to receive first Covid-19 vaccine by the end of 2020

New Delhi, August 11: Russia will start mass production of coronavirus vaccine by next month and the world will start receiving this vaccine in January 2021.

Russia will have the world’s first coronavirus vaccine. Today, Russia has also registered this vaccine. Russian President Blamidir Putin announced the registration of the vaccine amid all the apprehensions.

Russia’s Gamalaya Research Institute (GRI) tested the third phase of the vaccine on thousands of people only last week.

Russia’s Ministry of Health claims that the production of this vaccine will begin on a large scale by next month and from October the vaccine will also be used on a war footing.

Russia’s President Putin said in a television broadcast on Tuesday morning that the world’s first vaccine to kill the SARS-CoV-2 responsible virus for Covid-19 has been registered.

He claimed that this vaccine is completely effective and the immunity it produces can remain intact for a long time.

Russian President Vladimir Putin informed that his two daughters had been dosed for this vaccine.

He said that both of them are feeling well and have no side effects. Its registration certificate is available on the website of the Ministry of Health.

However some experts and multinational companies claim that this vaccine of Russia has not yet been tested in Phase III.

The WTO also told Russia last week not to hurry to release the vaccine. First test phase 3 according to the prescribed criteria, so that this vaccine can be proved completely safe.

The Association of Clinical Trials Organizations also urged the Russian government on August 10 to test the vaccine properly before registration, but Valentina Kosenko, deputy head of Russia’s health testing agency, claimed that thousands of people in the third phase Testing has been done and there is no significant negative impact on anyone.
