ED’s 10-hr grilling yielded no outcome

Mumbai, August 10: Rhea Chakraborty was grilled by the sleuths of Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday for 10 consecutive hours in connection with the film actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.

After this, Rhea Chakraborty, along with her father Indrajit and brother Showik, has left the ED office.

On Monday, ED has also questioned actress Rhea along with her brother, father, Sushant’s ex-business manager Shruti Modi, Siddharth Pithani.

However, the details of the inquiry from the ED have not been given to the media.

Meanwhile, the name of Sushant’s friend Sandeep Singh has been revealed during an inquiry. ED is going to call Sandeep Singh for questioning.

According to the sources, questions were asked from the ED to actress Rhea about Sushant’s money but the actress could not reply to the ED’s questions properly.

As per the sources, investigation revealed that the actress earnings were only 18 lakhs in the year 2018 and 18 lakhs in the year 2019. Despite this, Rhea Chakraborty bought shares worth Rs 76 lakh on this also, she failed to answer the ED’s question.

Similarly, on Monday, ED officials disappointed with Rhea’s reply have also questioned her father Indrajit, brother Showik, and manager Shruti Modi face to face.

During interrogation of the actress, it has come to notice that lot of money of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s was transferred into the account of actor’s friend Sandeep Singh. Therefore, the ED is going to call Sandeep Singh for grilling.

It is notable that Sushant’s father KK Singh has accused Rhea Chakraborty of swindling of Rs 15 crore from his son’s bank account.

In this case, the ED is conducting a deep inquest of the actress and her family.

However, the ED could not find any significant evidence during the 10-hour inquiry into the matter on Monday.
