Uttar Pradesh sounds high alert following Kerala serial blasts

New Delhi, 29 Oct: Uttar Pradesh is on high alert following the serial blasts that took one life and injured 36 people in Kerala.

Prashant Kumar, Special Director General of Law and Order, ordered all districts to be on high alert, and the Anti-Terrorism Squad was also notified. ATS teams were dispatched to investigate the recent fresh inputs.

The authorities have also issued orders for all programs relating to the Israel-Palestine conflict to be rigorously watched, with details of all those who engage in these programs, both digitally and physically, being collected. Special vigilance has been imposed in Kanpur, Meerut, Varanasi, Aligarh, Lucknow, Hapur, Baghpat, Bareilly, Rampur, and Agra.
