Uttar Pradesh: Keep special vigil in NCR region to check movement from Delhi: CM

Lucknow, June 16: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to take special vigil in the NCR region of the state in view of the corona infection.

He said on Tuesday that all necessary steps should be opted to control the coronavirus infection in view of large scale traffic from Delhi. The number of beds in Covid hospitals of all the districts of Meerut division should be doubled.

He also instructed to arrange for an additional human resources in these districts through outsourcing, and to take their services after training.

He said that necessary arrangements should be made in order of feedback received from the nodal officers of these districts.

The Chief Minister gave these instructions while reviewing the high level Unlock 1 meeting at Lok Bhawan.

Along with this, he has instructed the District Magistrates (DMs) to continue the compulsory tour of hospitals to oversee the services provided by the hospitals.

He said that Additional Director of Health Department, designated as Nodal Officer in districts and senior doctors of Joint Director level should make effective efforts to maintain the system of hospitals.

The Chief Minister said that the corona infection has to be stopped at all costs. Therefore, an infected person with no symptoms of corona infection can not be allowed to stay in the house, as there is a possibility of spreading the infection. More than one lakh beds are available in Covid hospitals of the state. In order to control the infection, continuous monitoring is necessary while keeping the Covid-19 infected symptomatic person in Covid Hospital.

He also directed to keep the available ventilators functioning in all the districts and to keep the monitoring committees active.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has started emergency services and necessary operations in hospitals after April 20. Those hospitals, who want to provide medical facility according to the protocol of health department by following all precautions including PPE kits, should be allowed at district level. This is necessary to prevent infection of Covid-19.

The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that all eligible MSME units get loan facility by banks in the districts.

He also instructed the Chief Secretary to get the problem of payment of salaries of Municipal Corporation as early as possible.
