Lucknow, 01 June: In the midst of the ongoing war against the global pandemic coronavirus, the Yogi government kicked off massive immunization drive across Uttar Pradesh from Tuesday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inspected a vaccination centre at the KD Singh Babu Stadium in the capital Lucknow and appealed to the people to get the Corona vaccine as they get slot booked.

In fact, the state government has set a target of immunization of more than one crore people in the month of June. For this, the government has started a campaign of vaccination in the entire state from today.

For this, more than six thousand vaccination centres have been set up across the state, where free vaccination of people will be done for thirty consecutive days.

State’s Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal said that in all 75 districts of the state, a campaign has been started by the state government to get free corona vaccine for all citizens above 18 years of age.

He said that under this Mission June campaign, the target is to vaccinate more than one crore people in 30 days. For this, more than six thousand vaccination centres have been established across the state.

โ€œThe concerned authorities have been given clear instructions that all sections of the society should get the benefit of this campaign and that people should be vaccinated without any problem,โ€ he added.
