UP Police arrests 4 Muslims who offered Namaz at Lulu Mall

Lucknow, July 19: The Lucknow Police arrested four Muslims for offering Namaz at recently inaugurated Lulu Mall, the biggest in Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, arrested persons have been identified as Mohammed Rehan, Atif Khan, Mohammed Lukman and Mohammed Noman.

However, they are being questioned at Sushant Golf City police station while the search is on for the others.

According to the police, the arrested include three youths from Lucknow and one from Sitapur. On the basis of CCTV footage, these people have been arrested, who are being questioned for what purpose these people have offered Namaz in the mall.

It is noteworthy that in the video conferencing late on Monday evening, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had expressed anger over the incidents in Lulu Mall. The mall is working for its commercial establishment, it is wrong to make it a den of politics.

Yogi stated angrily that issuing unnecessary rhetoric, protesting on the streets is wrong. The administration should deal with such people strictly by showing seriousness in the matter. There should be no place for worship or any other event on the streets.
