UP: Permission to open all boarding schools from class 9-12 from February 09

Lucknow, 07 February: The Yogi government has granted permission to open all educational boards residential schools operated in the state from class-09 to class-12 – Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School, Government Ashram Vidyalaya Vidyalaya and other residential schools.

Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that in the wake of Corona infection, the work of studying and teaching in secondary schools has been materially affected.

He informed that this decision has been taken after due consideration in view of regularization of student interest and academic session and board, annual examinations.

He told that in this regard, instructions have been given to completely sanitize them before the school is opened, sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid in schools should be ensured if a student or teacher or other personnel is coughing. If there are symptoms of a cold or fever, isolate them and ensure the system of treatment.

In the hostel, if a student becomes infected with coranavirus disease, then its treatment should be ensured by the medical and health department, Uttar Pradesh, to ensure literal compliance.

“It will be mandatory for all teachers, students and other school staff to wear masks, with the school management providing an additional amount of masks, as well as to ensure compliance with the guidelines issued to prevent corona infection,” Sharma added.
