UP: Over 11.50 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, October 13: The Uttar Pradesh government has cautioned the people of the state about the danger of Covid-19.

Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad while talking to reporters on Wednesday said that the cases of Covid have definitely reduced in the state, but still there is a need to be alert. A little carelessness increases the risk of covid infection. So everyone needs to be alert.

He said that a total of one lakh 81 thousand 111 samples have been tested yesterday in the state. There have been 11 new cases of corona infection in this. A total of eight crore seven lakh 87 thousand 57 samples have been tested so far in the state.

Prasad further said that in the last 24 hours, 15 and 16 lakh 86 thousand 960 people have been cured of COVID-19 in the state. There are total 139 active cases of corona in the state.

He said that the work of Covid vaccination is being done continuously. Yesterday, five lakh 57 thousand 295 doses of Covid vaccine have been given in a day. Till yesterday, the first dose of nine crore 19 lakh 75 thousand 762 and the second dose of two crore 51 lakh 85 thousand 50 has been administered in the state. Till yesterday, a total of 11 crore 71 lakh 60 thousand 812 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been given.
