In such a situation, all necessary arrangements are being made for the health safety of the children.

โ€œParents also need to take special precautions. Along with ‘Dastak’ campaign for the prevention of encephalitis, special awareness campaigns should be conducted to prevent communicable diseases,โ€ he added.

Chief Minister Yogi has given instructions to ensure adequate availability of useful pulse oximeters for children, he told that our MSME units can cooperate well towards manufacturing of Child Pulse Oximeter. Efforts should be started in this direction by the concerned department by contacting the MSME units.

Chief Minister Yogi has said that information about the health of children should be obtained by contacting the beneficiaries through the CM Helpline and a special campaign for door-to-door distribution of medical kits for children should be conducted smoothly.

He said that earlier free medicine kits would be distributed to more than 50 lakh children. Children below the age of 18 years with symptoms of Covid-19 have been divided into four categories (0-1 years, 1-5 years, 5-12 years and 12-18 years). Different types of medicine kits have been prepared for each category.

The Chief Minister informed that the process of providing vaccine-covers to the people of the state is underway smoothly to protect against Covid infection.

First of all, a fully equipped trauma centre should be established on Lucknow-Agra Expressway. Thereafter, similar efforts should be made on other expressways in a phased manner.

He said that the situation of Covid infection in the state is under control. The situation is returning to normal, but it has to be understood that the virus has weakened, not gone. A little carelessness can increase the infection again. Everyone should include the practice of covid prevention like masks, sanitization, social distancing in their lifestyle. Get out of the house only if it is very necessary. Avoid the crowd. The police force remained active.
