Lucknow, 14 April: So far, 20,510 fresh cases of coronavirus infection have come up across Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 4,517 people have recovered and discharged from various hospitals of Covid-19. Covid vaccination drive is being carried out for those above 45 years of age in the state. A total of 97, 42,084 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
State’s Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Wednesday that in the last 24 hours, there have been 20,510 new cases of corona infected.
“At present there are 1, 11,835 active cases of corona across the state, out of which 97,190 people are in home isolation. 1648 people in private hospitals and remaining patients are also undergoing treatment in government hospitals,” he added.
He informed that in the last 24 hours, 4,517 people and 6, 22,810 people have been properly discharged from Covid-19 hospitals in the last 24 hours.
A total of 2, 10,121 samples were examined in one day.
Prasad informed that while conducting a large number of testing works in the state, the capacity of testing is being increased continuously. A total of 2, 10,121 swab samples were tested in the last one day. So far, a total of 3, 73, 84,344 samples have been investigated in the state. In this, more than 90,000 samples have been tested through RTPCR.
He said that through the surveillance team in the state, 15,62,12,814 population of 3,22,32,684 houses have been surveyed through 5,33,036 team days in 2,02,355 regions. Covid vaccination is being done for those above 45 years of age in the state. So far 83, 49,009 people have been given the first dose of vaccine and out of those taking the first dose, 13, 93,075 people have been given the second dose of vaccine. In this way, a total dose of 97, 42,084 vaccines have been applied.
700 rupees will have to be paid for a Covid test in a private laboratory
ACS Health informed that the rate of testing and treatment of Covid-19 has been fixed in a private hospitals. He asked private hospitals to display it as well. He said that Rs 700 will have to be paid for testing in a private laboratory. If the sample is collected from home, then Rs 900 will have to be paid. Tika Utsav celebrated from 11 to 14 April
Prasad informed that the Tika Utsav was celebrated from April 11 to 14 in the state. Under this, on April 12, more than 05 lakh, 8 thousand Covid-19 vaccines were given to the beneficiaries. He told that Covid Command Centre has been established in every district. On whose phone number, information related to Covid and the problem can be solved.
He informed that testing and treatment of Covid infection is being done free of cost in government hospitals and private medical colleges in the state.
He informed that the infection is not yet eradicated; hence special precautions are needed, after vaccination must also follow the Covid protocol. Continue to wash your hands with soap and water. Avoid visiting crowded places. He said that the elders of the household should get vaccinated.
