UP Madrasa Board not serious about court order: Allahabad HC

Prayagraj, 02 August: The Allahabad High Court has summoned the Registrar/Inspector, UP Madrasa Board, Lucknow on August 10 with a counter-affidavit. It has been said that from time to time the court keeps giving orders for minority institutions. The authorities do not take him seriously. Due to which a large number of contempt cases of teachers of minority institutions are under consideration.

The court has asked how the compliance of the court order is monitored in the department. How many contempt cases are pending against the department, in which orders have been complied with and in how many have not been complied with. What action has been taken against the officers who willfully disobey the court order.

The court has directed the Inspector Madrasa Education Board to appear with the reply. Justice Prakash Padia has given this order on the contempt petition of Sabir Khan and others.

On July 19, 13, the court had directed the payment of salaries of the teachers of the minority institution, but it was not followed. Hearing which the court has given this order.
