UP gets Rs 1.68L crore investment proposals for GIS 2023

Lucknow, 03 December: The UP government has received investment proposals worth more than Rs 1.68 lakh crore through Nivesh Sarathi, a portal launched by the government even before the organization of the Global Investors Summit, 2023.

Not only this, MoUs have also been signed for an investment of Rs 1,25,885 crore. This will provide employment to 5,63,946 people in Uttar Pradesh.

Global Investors Summit will be organized from 10 to 12 February 2023 to make the state’s economy a trillion US dollars. A total of 472 investment proposals were received on the Nivesh Sarathi portal till 30 November. Out of these, various departments have signed MoUs on 140 proposals.

Through this, an investment of Rs 1,25,885 crore will be made in the state. At the same time, there are about 315 proposals on the portal, on which MoUs are to be signed.

This will lead to an investment of more than Rs 1,68,759 crore and provide employment to 6,79,338 people. According to sources, the process of six proposals could not be completed. At the same time, three proposals worth Rs 30,395 crore have been rejected. At the same time, four proposals have been withdrawn by the investors.

The Yogi government has launcned Nivesh Sarathi portal for investors. Investors are making investment proposals through this. The nodal officers of the concerned department are providing business and other important information to the investors. Even before the official launch of the portal, the government had received investment proposals worth more than 1.25 lakh crores.

The State Government has also made Nivesh Mitra Portal to provide concessions and facilities to the investors as per the investment policy in various sectors. The portal will give information about all the concessions, subsidies online to the investors. As a result the investors will not have to visit the government office.
