UP board’s practical examinations will be held from December 15 to January 13

Allahabad, 19 November: The practical examinations of Intermediate for the year 2020, conducted by the Secondary Education Council, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, will be held in two phases from December 15 to January 13 in the entire state.

UP Board Secretary Nina Srivastava said on Tuesday that in the first phase, practical examinations will be held from December 15 to December 29 in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Mirzapur, Basti and Devipatan divisions. In the second phase, practical examinations will be held in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Azamgarh and Gorakhpur from December 30 to January 13.

She informed that in the practical subjects of intermediate, 50 percent marks will be given by internal examiner and 50 percent marks will be given by external examiner.

Similarly, for individual candidates who will be set centers for school experimental examination, 50 percent marks will be awarded by the teacher of subjects related to those schools under internal evaluation system, the remaining 50 percent will be given by the external examiner.

The said examinations will be conducted by the principals under CCTV surveillance. The board secretary said that the high school practical examinations will be conducted on the basis of internal assessment at the school level, like last year.
