Due to the construction of RUB in Gomti Nagar, many trains will run on the changed route on December 2-3.

Lucknow, 19 November: Northern Railway administration is going to work for the construction of limited height Rail Under Bridge (RUB) in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, on December 2 and 3, nine trains will be diverted.

Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Deepak Kumar said on Tuesday that due to the construction of railway under bridge in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar, the operations of trains on the Lucknow-Barabanki route will be affected on December 2 and 3. Therefore, many trains will not be diverted from Barabanki via Charbagh via Aishbagh and Badshahnagar.

He informed that on December 2, Gorakhpur-LTT Express will be diverted via Malhore-Aishbagh-Manaknagar, Ahmedabad-Muzaffarpur Jansadharan Express via Manaknagar-Aishbagh-Malhore, while Kanpur Anwarganj-Faizabad Express will be 90 minutes late from Kanpur Anwarganj. At the same time, on December 3, Gorakhpur-Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal Express will run via Malhore-Aishbagh-Manaknagar, Gorakhpur-Panvel Express via Malhore-Aishbagh-Manaknagar, Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express via Zafarabad-Sultanpur-Lucknow.

Apart from this, on December 2 and 3, Ganga Sutlej Express will stop 80 minutes on the way and Varanasi-Lucknow Passenger will stop 40 minutes while Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Express will be delayed by an hour from Gorakhpur. This can cause problems to the passengers.
