UPSIDC will set up oxygen plant to meet oxygen shortage.

Oxygen plant will be operational by August 2021, youth will get employment opportunities.

Adoption of three government hospitals will provide oxygen at no charge.

Lucknow, 27 April: Amid the rise in coronavirus cases across the Uttar Pradesh, the UP State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) has taken a very big initiative to meet the lack of oxygen. Saraswati Hitech is going to set up a 2000 metric tonne capacity oxygen plant at Prayagraj on its behalf, extending its hand to help the people during the pandemic.

Hence, UPSIDC has provided land for immediate establishment of the plant. An oxygen plant to be built on an area of โ€‹โ€‹about 7400 sqm will cost a total of Rs 15.76 crore. The plant will be commissioned by August.

The plant with state-of-the-art technology will have a capacity to supply 1100 to 1500 cylinders per day. After the establishment of the plant, people will also get employment opportunities here.

Plot allotted immediately

For the oxygen plant, entrepreneur Umesh Jaiswal of M / s Prabha Engineering Constructions had demanded a 4000 sqm plot in the authority’s industrial area Saraswati Hitech City. Considering the importance of the project and the present circumstances, 4000 square meters of industrial plots were allotted immediately on the instructions of the Chief Executive Officer of UPSIDC.

As part of the project in the plant, a state-of-the-art technology plant will be set up to meet the shortage of liquid nitrogen liquid oxygen, industrial and medical oxygen, with a daily capacity of 1100 to 1500 cylinders.

Agreement signed with the company of Gujarat to build the plant.

On behalf of M / s Prabha Engineering Construction, an agreement has been signed with M / s New Kanak Sales and Consultancy Service of Gujarat Company for setting up an oxygen plant. The oxygen plant will be set up in Saraswati Hitech City in an area of โ€‹โ€‹about 7400 sqm. The establishment of the project will cost a total of Rs 15.76 crore. Many people will also get direct employment opportunities here when the unit is set up.

Adoption of three hospitals, will provide oxygen free of cost

The Oxygen plant, which is going to be built by UPCIDA effort, will be commissioned by the month of August 2021. Once the plant is set up, liquid nitrogen will meet the shortage of liquid oxygen, industrial and medical oxygen. Three government hospitals Bailey, Dufferin and Colvin Prayagraj have been adopted by the plant, where oxygen from the plant’s r will be provided at no charge.
