UP: 2-day Awadhi Food Festival from Saturday

Lucknow, 12 February: The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department in collaboration with Tourism Corporation is organizing a two-day Awadhi Food Festival on February 13 and 14 to promote the Awadhi cuisine of the state and to give a taste of Awadhi cuisine to the tourists and general public.

At the food festival, people will be able to enjoy the cuisine from 2 pm to 10 pm.

In this event, different types of Awadhi dishes will be made available to the public, as well as delicious chaats and dishes of different types of sweets will also be made available.

However, a total of seven hotels where Awadhi Food Festivals to be held are initially run by the Tourism Corporation –

Hotel Gomti Lucknow, Hotel Ilawart Prayagraj, Tourist Accommodation Home Varanasi, Tourist Accommodation House Agra, Pathik Niwas Kushinagar by Ramgarh Tal, Rohila Motel Bareilly and Rahi Tourist Accommodation House in Chitrakoot.

A variety of Awadhi dishes, delicious chaat, Muradabadi dal, Muradabadi Biryani as well as a variety of parathas, chutneys, pickles, etc. will be made available to the guests visiting the hotels on the occasion of the food festival. Apart from this, delicious sweets can also be enjoyed by the visiting guests and tourists on the occasion of organizing the food festival.

In order to make the food festival attractive, various types of competitions, sports etc. are also being organized to entertain the children, as well as bon fire has also been arranged in the said event keeping in mind the winter season. Boating facility will also be made available for the guests at the Food Festival being held at Ramgarh Tal, Gorakhpur.

Similarly, arrangements will be ensured at the venue by following the Corona Guideline completely and the dishes will also be prepared according to the guidelines. Compliance of these rules will also be ensured by all the staff working at the venue. There will be a sanitizer for the use of the guests visiting the hotel and they will also be motivated to follow the social distance.
